I N T H E M O R N I N G
The day starts quietly.
Tenderly, the sunlight makes its way through the clouds.
Delicate wafts of mist settle on fields and mountains.
The bell tower chimes 8:00am.
Yet, only in my thoughts I hear its wonderful sound.
A steady murmur of cars and people’s daily work Only slowly echoes through to me.
For I have time today.
Time for me, time for my family. Time to write.
Time to live. Time to guide my thoughts.
Time to treat me well, to embrace.
Time to take in the space. Time to just be.
Time to just be here.
